Is All Blue free?
Yes. All Blue is free to download and use, with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads.
Does the app work offline?
Species data is fetched on first load and cached. You can browse previously viewed species without a connection.
Where does the species data come from?
Data is curated from public scientific sources (including FishBase) and served from our own dataset at dataset.catches.world. We do not generate species information with AI.
Will my catches and targets sync across devices?
Not currently. Your Caught and Target lists are stored locally on your device. We may add iCloud sync in a future update.
I found a species that's missing or incorrect.
Please email us with the species name and details — we appreciate the report and will queue an update.
Why is the app called "All Blue"?
It's a nod to a legendary stretch of ocean from popular maritime fiction — a place where every species in every sea can be found in one spot. That's the spirit of the guide.
